By using Advoke CV, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What Advoke CV provides
Advoke CV is a free, browser-based resume builder. It provides resume templates, an editor, a live preview, and browser-based PDF export. It is provided as a tool, and it does not guarantee any particular outcome from using it.
Your content belongs to you
Everything you type into Advoke CV is yours. Advoke CV does not claim any rights over the content of your resume. Because nothing is transmitted to a server, there is no need for a licensing clause covering your resume content.
Template designs
The sixty templates that ship with Advoke CV are original work. You are welcome to use them for personal and commercial resumes, in unlimited quantity, for yourself and for anyone you help. You may not redistribute the templates as a product, or resell the templates themselves.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you put in your resume and for complying with any applicable laws in the jurisdictions where you apply. Advoke CV does not verify the content you enter.
You agree not to use Advoke CV to harass, defraud, or impersonate another person. You agree not to attempt to compromise the security of the site or its users. Because the site has no server-side code, most such attempts have nothing to attack, but the expectation stands.
No warranty
Advoke CV is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. The project is maintained by people, and while we try to keep it correct and available, we cannot guarantee that it will be free of bugs, that PDF export will render identically in every browser, or that any specific employer or ATS will accept the output.
In particular, Advoke CV makes no claim that any template will pass any specific applicant tracking system, or that any resume written with the tool will lead to an interview or an offer.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Advoke CV and its maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. This includes (but is not limited to) lost drafts, lost time, or missed opportunities.
Availability
Advoke CV is provided at no cost and may change or become unavailable at any time without notice. Because the site runs entirely in the browser, if you have already loaded the page you can continue to use it for the duration of that session even if the hosting becomes unavailable.
Third-party services
The site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log basic request information for operational and security purposes. No third-party analytics, advertising, or CDN services are used.
Governing terms
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the maintainers of the project. Any dispute arising from your use of Advoke CV will be handled informally wherever possible.
Changes
These terms may be revised from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" line above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
